Název projektu:
A Turkish company specialized on wind turbine systems seeks partners - EEN
Popis:
A Turkish company specialized on wind turbine systems is searching for technology, product and partner company to develop their systems. The company is seeking partners in Europe which have an industrial process and want to call on the expertise in wind energy systems. The company wants to enter in contact with manufacturers of wind turbines and also wants to work with manufacturers/research institutes to establish technological developments.
Požadavky na partnera:
A wind turbine is a rotating machine which converts the kinetic energy in wind into mechanical energy. If the mechanical energy is used directly by machinery, such as a pump or grinding stones, the machine is usually called a windmill. If the mechanical energy is then converted to electricity, the machine is called a wind generator. Wind turbines can be separated into two types based by the axis in which the turbine rotates. Turbines that rotate around a horizontal axis are more common. Vertical-axis turbines are less frequently used.
Wind energy system operations do not generate air or water emissions and do not produce hazardous waste. Nor do they deplete natural resources such as coal, oil, or gas, or cause environmental damage through resource extraction and transportation, or require significant amounts of water during operation. Wind's pollution-free electricity can help reduce the environmental damage caused by power generation from fossil fuels.
In view of increased environmental awareness, the amount of electrical power generated using wind turbines is increasing. The major part of generated wind power originates from relatively large wind turbines that have been specifically developed to supply an existing power grid.
However, wind power is also increasingly being used for off-line applications, in which wind turbines are used to supply stand-alone equipment with electrical power without having the possibility of supplying any excess power to a power grid.
Such off-line applications impose specific requirements on wind turbines. For example, the wind turbine should be configured to start rotating at a wind speed which is very low compared to wind turbines for "on-line" applications for supplying an existing power grid.
Furthermore, in order to handle the inherently varying supply of wind power, practically every off-line application includes an energy storage device, which may, for example, comprise batteries. Such an energy storage device may generally not be "overcharged". Therefore, a wind turbine for use in an off-line application typically needs a system for handling excess wind power conditions so as not to damage the energy storage device.
Due to its technology and advantages, also with the importance of the eco-envoirment nowadays, the company is seeking partners in Europe which have an industrial process and want to call on the expertise in wind energy systems. The company wants to have contact with manufacturers of wind turbines and also wants to work with manufacturers/research institutes to establish technological developments.
Technical Specifications / Specific technical requirements:
" High Efficient Systems" Highest quality indicators" Low cost, worth for implementing
Degree of development:
Patents/Rights:
Requested Cooperation: Change in the partner sought's currently used technologies (installations, process, facilities), Absolutely novel process, Assembly, Engineering, Technical consultancy, Quality control, Maintenance, Joint further development, Testing of new applications, Adaptation to specific needs, Joint Venture Agreement, New way to use an existing production line, Transfer of knowledge in new raw materials
- Type of partner sought:
Partners working in renewable energy or green technologies with special interest in wind turbine technologies production
- Specific area of activity of the partner:
