An East of England based Water Utilities companies seeks renewable energy solutions for energy generation to meet their current energy demand of around 877 Gwh/year. The company is keen to hear from CHP, Wind, Water based renewable energy sources, solar, heat sources and any other technological solution that can be integrated into their operational arena. Commercial agreements with technical assistance and licence agreements are sought.
An East of England based water utilities company has a current energy demand of around 877Gwh/year. This energy is used mainly to run water and wastewater operational assets. Ongoing pressures on the business like climate change, increasing population and changing environmental standards make it even more challenging to meet carbon and energy reduction targets.
The company is committed to minimising its energy use and increasing the use of renewable sources over the next five years. It is now the company's target to ensure that 25% of the energy used by the business will be from renewable sources by 2015.
All possibilities are being explored and the company is keen to hear from solution providers in the following areas:

Technical Specifications / Specific technical requirements:
The UK company is keen to hear from companies who have developed technologies applicable to the areas listed above. All technologies do need to be fully developed, certified and accredited for use in European markets. This includes technologies which have been developed recently and just come on the market. Technologies without relevant certification and accreditation will not be considered.
