A Scottish brewery which is establishing its own bottling plant is seeking a biodegradable shrink wrap for use in packaging its 500ml bottles in packs of 12.
An established Scotttish brewery is seeking a biodegradable shrink wrap for wrapping its product in packs of twelve 500ml bottles.
The brewery is establishing its own bottling and packaging plant and the machinery for shrink wrap has yet to be selected.
The brewery currently produces around 208 packs of twelve bottles per hour and may offer bottling facilities to other breweries once their plant is fully operational.
Technical Specifications / Specific technical requirements:
The wrap must be biodegradable. It is anticipated that the wrap will be 55 micron and strong enough to allow the packs, which weigh approximately 11kg each, to be lifted by the packaging.
