Název projektu:
Building materials based on photovoltaics or with photovoltaic properties (11 ES 252K 3KB6)
Popis:
A Spanish Technological centre working in the construction sector is looking for construction materials based on photovoltaic or photovoltaic materials with potential integration into or as building elements, to be integrated in constructive solutions. This materials will be implemented or optimized to be part of materials building elements, and finally into constructive solutions with high degree of industrialization. They are interested in a license agreement or technical cooperation.
This Technological Center develops its own industrialization model based on a new way of dividing the building into functional units and then constructs it with compatible components and with an unambiguous, predefined assembling process. The new products and procedures obtained are the result of combining materials technology with specific issues related to thermal and acoustic insulation, energy efficiency, renewable energy and environmental impact.
The objective is the development and demonstration of standardized building components based on photovoltaics, which comply with existing standards and building codes, in order to contribute to realising the Implementation Plan (2010-2012) and the Technology Roadmap (2010-2020) of the Solar Europe European Industrial Initiative which aims at extensively integrating PV-generated electricity by a demonstration programme to support the large-scale deployment in typical urban environments.
The photovoltaic materials sought will be implemented or optimized to be part of material building elements, to then be integrated into constructive solutions with a high degree of industrialization. Depending on the application, first or second generation photovoltaics are accepted. If possible glazing, ceramics, paint and coatings, or cement based materials with photovoltaic properties, are also accepted.
Technical Specifications / Specific technical requirements:
" First or second generation photovoltaics are accepted (depending on the final implementation)" Potential scalability is a minimum technical requirement. " Efficiency proof of concept is required." Minimum efficiency required is 10 %." Nanotechnology approaches are also accepted.
