A Spanish Basque Company seeks a medical device manufacturing know-how, related to catheters, balloon catheters, tubes, made of silicon and plastic, or similar type products. The company is interested in a know-how acquisition and has investment capacity in global large scale elastomer processing of different injection and extrusion technologies in silicon, rubber and plastics.
The company's headquarters are located in the Basque Country - Spain and has plants in Spain, and Eastern Europe. The Company has initiated a medical device manufacturing activity in silicone injection moulding and now seeks a collaboration with a medical device manufacturing expert in order to develop added value catheters or similar products in order to diversify its activity in a long term basis.
The Company is interested in collaborating for example with a small Original Equipment Manufacturer (O.E.M.) or start-up wishing to expand or to license a product, a process manufacturing supplier expert in medical devices manufacturing technologies like catheters, a research center with know-how in added value catheters, a contract manufacturer wishing to expand its capacity,... The final product involved should be a silicon, rubber or plastic medical device based and its use can be for example for the respiratory, gastric or urology areas or any disposable related product.
The company offers investment capacity and its expertise in global large scale elastomer processing of different injection and extrusion technologies in silicon, rubber and plastics.

The technology seeked can be a silicon, rubber and/or plastic medical device processing preferably using one or more of the following processing technologies: injection moulding, over-injection moulding, extrusion and co-extrusion technologies. The added value can be coatings, sensors or safety related and patents are appreciated.
