Název projektu:
Ceramic manufacturer for the production of solid oxide fuel cell (SOFC) redox anode-supported thin electrolyte (11 CH 84FB 3LWB)
Popis:
A Swiss company has developed redox anode-supported thin electrolyte cell and is now looking for a ceramic manufacturer to produce the cells in volume to answer the next years coming market of solid oxide fuel cell. The ceramic manufacturer would screen print green ceramic substrates with inks provided by the Swiss company, and sinter the bodies obtained. Collaboration can be license agreement, joint further development, joint venture or subcontracting.
A redox anode supported thin electrolyte cell has been developed by a Swiss company and the technical proof of concept has now been done.
The Swiss company is looking for an industrial partner (ceramic manufacturer) to produce the cells in volume to answer the next years coming market of solid oxide fuel cell. The industrial partner should have a sintering capacity that allows for processing batches of minimum 100 cells in a first step.
In a first step the Swiss company will provide the ceramic manufacturer with green ceramic substrates and special ceramic inks. The ceramic manufacturer will screen print thin layers on the substrates with the provided inks and sinter the bodies obtained. If the ceramic manufacturer has no screen printing facilities, the Swiss company will provide him with already printed substrates. In a second step, a technology transfer (for the substrate fabrication and the ink preparation) could be a possibility.
The industrial partnership can take several forms, but will need joint development and up-scaling. It could be a partnership in the frame of a European project.
Technical Specifications / Specific technical requirements:
The typical dimensions of the substrates are 100 X 150 X 0.5 mm in the sintered state and 150 X 230 X 0.7 mm in the green state.
The sintering temperature will be between 1320-1380 °C with controlled and slow ramping up (1 to 2 days to reach the sintering temperature). The sintering atmosphere is air.
The green substrates and the inks are composed respectively, of partially stabilized zirconia and nickel oxide.
Standard screen printing technologies are used for the deposition of the thin functional layers.
