An italian research institute specialized in greenhouse gas reuse is looking for a technology to store CO2 (carbon dioxide) produced by natural processes at a low pressure and a capacity of about 70 tonnes. The technology requested can either be at the laboratory stage or fully developed.
The institute is interested in technical cooperation, manufacturing or commercial agreement with technical assistance.
The italian research institute has developed two technologies to store CO2: the first one by using the atmospheric pressure and another one under a pressure of 4 bar. Nevertheless both technologies aren't suitable for low pressure and a capacity of 70 tonnes. Moreover, the common technology of storage CO2 is the liquefaction and this is a very expansive process. The institute is looking for alternative methods of CO2 storage. The technology requested needs to be sized for 70 tonnes of CO2 developed in two months and it needs to be reused during all year. The system should be with a minimal space impact, it should also be easy to run and it should allow a low energy consumption. The process should be connectable with gas system uptake and gas system reuse.
