A Russian SME, specialized in turbomachinery design, developed a fundamentally new kind of impeller related to fan engineering. Application of a new engineering solution enables a 70% increase in the specific aerohydrodynamic loading of turbomachines with vortical control of the interface layer. The company searches for partners for commercial agreement with technical assistance.
The company conducted mathematical modeling of aerodynamic processes occurring in the course of rotation of circular lattices with account for vortical flows in a turbomachine. Methods and devices were developed for improving the aerodynamic loading and efficiency of radial turbomachinery, taking into account organization of an additional circulating airflow around the cylindrical shell and utilization of the additional contribution of its circulation around the shovels. All these factors resulted in increasing the pressure in the working zone, the aerodynamic loading and the turbomachine efficiency.

The novelty of the technical solution consists of:
- improved design of the turbine setting of turbomachine impeller (gas-suction fan) with blades equipped with vortex chambers;
- created algorithms for aerodynamic calculation of the radial lattices of profiles with vortex source for optimization of the turbomachine's operation.
A considerable enhancement of the aerodynamic characteristics of turbomachinery is achieved through the design philosophy of impellers with vortex chambers. The technology allows to create radial-vortical turbomachinery with a coefficient of aerodynamic loading of at least 1.35 and a maximum efficiency factor of at least 0,87.
