A French SME has developped an easy system based on an electrical method to assess corrosion progress of metallic structures.The aim of this system is to anticipate various works related to corrosion degradation phenomenon and so finally lead to decrease cost.
This SME is looking for partners to help it to analyse corrosion phenomenon on real steel structures. The sought partners sould be an industrial or a building steel structure(public buldings such as bridge)Technical cooperation are sought

The system injects a courant, and then, it measures a voltage. With both measures the system indicates the state of corrosion of reinforcing steel.
By comparison with first measure, this device allows assess corrosion rate.
The system provides multiple benefits for the operator :" Increase the reactivity in case of failure of a structure." Enhance the historical knowledge of the structure" In general, reduce the operation and maintenance costs by allowing less frequent field checks and measurements.
This French SME is looking for partners to help it to develop this device.
