A small Russian enterprise from Chelyabinsk specialized in development and implementation of energy-saving automated systems needs modernization of the intellectual remote control device for building illumination system. The company seeks partners for realisation of new technical solutions in the component base of their system within joint further development and/or commercial agreement with technical assistance.
Introduction of new technical solutions into integrated illumination systems is one of leading directions in the field of energy-saving. The Russian company developed an automated system for maintaining the required intensity of lighting in various types of buildings. The system takes into account the natural illumination, time, day of the week, presence of people in a room, it has capability of individual tuning through making own schedule. In order to expand the applications of the system, the company needs to improve the remote intellectual device for light control.
The requested technology should provide commutation and manage the lamp's operating mode, allow connecting up to 16 rows of lamps with commutation load up to 500 watt. The software of the device should analyse the energy consumption, identify errors automatically, realize preventive measures for lanterns maintenance, implement remote diagnostic and control of street lanterns. The technology should support special internal wireless protocol for data exchange with the server that gathers and analyses the information on energy consumption. The company would consider introduction of a completely new technology and/or technical solutions directed to improvement of the illumination system's software.

The intellectual control device should have the following technical characteristics:
- modular structure: the main processing module and canal commutation modules (about 16)
- commutation load over 1 channel is ~220 watt; limit value is 500 watt
- power 220 V
- working temperatures: between -10 and plus 50°C
- smooth control of the light intensity
- management of lantern rows' operating modes in accordance with the functional operation schedule
The result of collaboration should be the development of firmware including all mentioned functions.
