A small Finnish company is looking for a plastic pipe manufacturer. The company has developed a novel geothermal heat collector pipe and is focused on installations and projects with the pipe. The company wants to find a manufacturer with efficient extrusion lines to produce this pipe to European markets.
A Finnish company wants to find a manufacturer for their geothermal heat collector pipe. The pipe is a coaxial borehole heat exchanger made of PE-HD, and comes in two diameters: 65 mm and 82 mm. The pipe is in production in Finland, but the company wants to find a partner that is capable of manufacturing the pipe closer to the markets in Europe. The company offers co-operation in constructing the tools needed in extrusion. Estimated amount to be produced in year 2012 is 100 000 m.
The pipe is more efficient, in both technical and economical terms, compared to the pipes traditionally used in borehole heat exchangers. The company itself has solutions and innovations to utilize this pipe in large-scale targets (residential areas, industrial buildings etc.).
The company is open to all forms of co-operation with this technology.
