A French company specialized in design and manufacturing of hydraulic and pneumatic components is looking for a material for bushing part of connectors.
The bushing will be assembled to a removable connectors and assure the fixation of a pipe under pressure.
Until now, the material of the bushing and the pipe is the same.
The target of the company is to use an unique bushing for different pipe systems: steel,copper, aluminium and stainless steel.
Technical Specifications / Specific technical requirements:
Coating on steel thread guaranteeing more then 500 hours salt spray resistance and protection against galvanic corrosion with contact material (steel, stainless
Steel, brass, aluminium and cupro-aluminium).
The coating may not be destroyed by squeezing in the thread.
The coating must keep its characteristics by operating at -50°C to +110°C.
The coating must guarantee a continuity of mass ‹ 30 milliohm under 50 A.
