Popis:
A Spanish Technological Center based in Catalonia working in the construction sector is looking for innovative thermal insulation materials potentially integrable in constructive solutions with high degree of industrialization. They are interested in a license agreement or a technical cooperation.
This Technological Center develops its own industrialization model based on a new way of dividing the building into functional units and then construct it with compatible components and with an unambiguous, predefined assembling process. The new products and procedures obtained are the result of combining materials technology with specific issues relating to thermal and acoustic insulation, energy efficiency, renewable energy and environmental impact.
Their objective is the development and demonstration of constructive solutions with high degree of industrialization, with integrated high performance insulation materials in order to contribute to the large scale market deployment of very low/zero energy buildings before 2020.
The insulation materials sought will be implemented or optimized to be part of materials building elements, to then be integrated into constructive solutions with a high degree of industrialization. Nanophased materials are desired (not mandatory).
Technical Specifications / Specific technical requirements:
- Potential scalability is a minimum technical requirement.
- Pre-competitive proof of concept is required (thermal insulation).
- Thermal conductivity (of the material) between 0.012-0.014 W/(m"K) is desired.
- Nanotechnology or Industrial biotechnology approaches are accepted.
- Pilot production is desired.
