A UK based company providing CAD, CAM, and CMM services (Computer Aided Design, Compuer Aided Manufacturing and Cooridinate Measuring Machine) is looking for a low cost EU based partner to provide it with an outsource capability for its projects. This work will cover a number of different CAD packages and CAM capabilities so the ideal partner will be able to support these services across multiple platforms. The company seeks partnerships for technical cooperation.
The UK based company has a small mechanical engineering team that focuses on Aerospace, Automotive, Defence, Marine, Nuclear and Rail sectors. They specialise in supporting their clients via CAD, CAM and CMM work packages.
The UK company is looking for partner companies with capabilities in various CAD, CAM and CMM packages, in particular, CATIA, UG NX, Solidworks, AutoCad amongst others. Also Delcam and Vericut and similar CAM software, outputs to post processing capability and CMM variants such as ITP, Mitutoyo or PC-DMIS
would all be useful too. Any experience in using Electrical or Composite software packages, or manufacturing experience in any of these disciplines would also be of interest.
The UK company is looking for a European partner that can support them in the work packages described above. They will remain the technical interface to the client and liaise with the selected company on a regular basis to ensure that relevant information is exchanged, thus enabling them to ensure the client is kept fully informed of the progress of the project. The current projects cover a wide array of sectors such as Aerospace, Defence, Automotive and Rail plus many more.
From time to time, the company will require onsite experts in their UK office, mainly during project start-up and closure, to visit the client to ensure the scope of the project is fully understood, and managed effectively.
A number of work packages are already being undertaken so this is an immediate and ongoing requirement.
