A North West region of the United Kingdom University has developed a novel hardware and software system making a user's keyboard, screen and desk into a single input/output device and is seeking a partner to take to market under license embedded in their own products.
Personal computers with multiple seamless screens are currently available and now a UK North west Region university has invented a novel system to improve on this usage. The system using hardware and software uses the whole desk environment as a seamless interactive device. For example, the system will allow drag and drop of icons onto (or away from) keyboard keys and makes (or breaks) the bindings. This achieved to such an extent that total flexibility and customization of the working area is possible .Innovations are: The putting together of the hardware and software to achieve a totally flexible working environment. Advantages are: it makes the Personal Computer environment much more interactive, key drag and drop is especially useful to gamers' and specialist professional users such as financial traders or designers.
