Název projektu:
Personal & Secured Portable Data Storage Device (11 IL 80EP 3NS1)
Popis:
An Israeli company developing Personal & Secured Portable Data Storage Device is looking to partner with: 1.A company that can develop and integrate a device combining biometric sensors with advanced microprocessor and large-scale flash memory and build an engineering prototype of a small compact electronic integrated authentication. 2.A network security company to build special communication protocols between the new device and network 3.Consumer electronics company for application development
The Israeli company is developing a personal data storage device that features dual (or triple) Bio Sensors, including a wellness sensor, to prevent identity theft. The unique privacy management technology is based on a triple-product concept, covered and protected by patent applications (PCT/IB2011/051002 published on 2011/09/15). This device offers large data storage capacity to support its users for their lifetime. Updates are automatic and made every time the device is set in its charging base. With this device, users can rely on one tool to aggregate all of their personal information (e.g., medical records, identification records, personal files) in an encrypted, safe, and mobile manner.
The Problem
The relatively open internet and cellular mediums expose sensitive information to security risks. Today's digital customers expect full anytime & anywhere access to personal and/or organizational information. However, current desktop and handheld devices offer limited storage capacity, portability & accessibility due to issues of security and technology limitations. While the demand for a portable, secure personal data storage device is growing, no satisfactory security solution has yet been found.
The Solution
The Company's data storage device offers:
" Mobility (handheld device that can be taken anywhere)" Accessibility (search function that facilitates easy aggregation and location of personal information)" Security (biometric sensors with wellness sensor and data encryption to block unauthorized access)" Longevity (data storage capacity to last the user's lifetime)
Target Markets
This device can be utilized to store medical and financial records, personal identification documents, and personal effects such as photos. This device could be the answer to recent US legislation, which requires each person to store and manage his own PHR (Patient Health Record).
Future applications include expanding this device to serve as electronic access keys, as well as to store digital versions of membership and credit cards, thereby taking the place of the wallet.
Technical Specifications / Specific technical requirements:
Assistance sought for product development integrating biometric sensors and wellness sensors that will leverage a microprocessor to interact with data storage hosts.
Specifics include:
1. Develop and integrate a device combining biometric sensors with an advanced microprocessor and large-scale flash memory and build an engineering prototype of a small compact electronic integrated authentication, computing and flash storage device.
2. Build special communication protocols between the new device and an intranet network.
3. Develop capability for device to interact with existing personal information aggregators.
