Large Danish producer and developer of toys is looking for actors who can technically solve the problem that digital inkjet cannot print on curved (2.5D) and double curved (3D) items.
The company has experienced that digital inkjet cannot print on curved (2.5D) on double curved (3D) items. So the company is interested in solutions which can transfer digital inkjet printed colours to 3D surfaces and items.
Solutions could be - but other solutions are very welcome:
" To move the item using a robot under the print head. However, this solution has a long cycle time, while it might be difficult to have space for the print head." To print on other media such as a silicone tampon and transfer decoration as in tampon print. The difference is that all colors are transferred at once.
