Název projektu:
PS - FP7 Capacities: BIN PICKING - SMEs Partners for a precision handling platform with bin picking of mechanical components (11 IT 54V8 3MJA)
Popis:
Two Italian Universities and a Network of Italian SMEs seek SMEs Partners to develop a precision handling platform with bin picking of mechanical components that combines commercial anthropomorphic robots with smart handling systems guided by three-dimensional artificial vision with made in Italy technology and advanced control logic. Partners will contribute in the definition of needs and testing of the prototype of Shearing or injection moulding or Robot integrators.
The goal of this activity is to create a precision handling platform with bin picking of mechanical components that combines commercial anthropomorphic robots with smart handling systems guided by three-dimensional artificial vision with made in Italy technology and advanced control logic.
Such platform shall be configurable in the different application fields and it shall consist of an anthropomorphic robot, a final effector for the universal picking of components with different shapes and different positions, a three-dimensional artificial vision system fitted with a lighting system and with control logic that manages all operations, including the self-diagnosis and self-repair functions.
Moreover 2 operating implementations will be developed for the fields of shearing and injection moulding
Therefore the final result of the project shall be a configurable platform of robotic cells designed to control the production systems. Such innovative robotic cells shall be able to pick mechanical components from a case in unstructured environments and to carry out handlings with higher accuracy. Such performances shall be reached thanks to the development of a system for 3D vision, designed specifically for industrial robotics applications, entirely accomplished by the research group and thanks to the devising of new self-diagnosis and self-repair functions that allow to self optimize dynamically the performances of the robotic cell and of the controlled production system.
Technical Specifications / Specific technical requirements:
CAll Information:
COMMUNITY PROGRAMME: Capacities
CALL IDENTIFIER: FP7-SME-2012 Reserch for SMEs
FUNDING SCHEME: Research for the benefit of specific groups (in particular SMEs) - BSG
DEADLINE OF PROPOSAL SUBMISSION: 06 December 2011
SME's partners will contribute in the definition of needs and testing of the prototype of Shearing or injection moulding or Robot integrators. They will act as end useras.
The technical and scientific domain of the partner activities regard Bin Picking
Robot and Automations, in particular:
1)creation of a platform for 3D vision designed specifically for industrial robotic applications
2)the development of adaptive lighting systems to facilitate and simplify the operations of processing of images
3)Low Cost System;
4)Programmable gear piece even by low-level operators
