Název projektu:
PS - FP7-ENVIRONMENT: Biogas treatment by means of bottom ash from waste incineration (11 DE 0855 3MCR)
Popis:
A German university-led consortium seeks SME partners to develop a new resource-efficient method of biogas treatment to achieve natural gas by means of bottom ash from waaste incineration within an FP7 Environment project. The partners should be active in engineering, machine construction and testing.
A German university with one of Europe´s leading research departments, specialized in the development of sustainable waste management, processing technologies and recycling systems is looking for partners for an FP7 environment project.
Aim of the planned research is a new, resource efficient method of biogas treatment to achieve natural gas. This will be linked to an accelerated carbonation of incineration ash and minimiziation of the leach ability of existing heavy metals.
The enhancements should reach a stage of pre-commercial development. Therefore it is planned to develop and test a prototype for the BABIU-method (Bottom ash for biogas upgrading) at a waste incineration plant and a biogas plant in Germany. The incineration slag should be transported directly from the ash bunker to the processing reactor and be flushed with biogas.
The German university is very experienced in carrying out European research projects. They will co-ordinate the project. The research departments will furthermore analyze past relevant research, carry out preliminary tests and draw up a study.
To date two further university partners from Austria and Italy are involved. They will be in charge of analysis of feedstock, engineering of the pilot plant, measuring and control technology.
Technical Specifications / Specific technical requirements:
Project Idea: Call ENV.2012.6.3-1 Innovative resource efficient technologies, processes and services FP7-ENV-2012-two-stage
The Project duration is planned for four years. Deadline for the stage 1 short proposal will be 20th October 2011. (Stage 2: 15.2.2012)
The consortium is looking for SMEs specialized in technical engineering, piping / machine construction and testing. Furthermore, experts familiar with process engineering, measurement and control devices are required for this project. The coordinator encourages in particular specialized SMEs from Eastern Europe to join the consortium.
