A German research institute is looking for SME partners to cooperate in a consortium of an EU funded project. The project aims to generate 3d structures with a new arc based additive manufacturing process. The institute is looking for partners in the part of the automation of steering module and machine axes interplay, as well as for potential end users e.g. from the ship building, off shore building of prototyps or railway industry.
In order to finalize a consortium for the "EU Call Research for Benefit of SMEs" or "Factories of the Future", a German research institute is looking for partners. The relevant project deals with a new welding process, which provides the possibility to build up 3d structures different in height, length and wide. The 3d structures will be welded on existing work pieces, special properties (e.g. high hardness) and even sandwich structures with different material are possible. The partners will gain the following advantages out of the process:" Individual customer oriented tailored production" High Energy efficient " High accuracy" Small rework
The German Research Institute/University as coordinator is working in the field of arc welding.
