Název projektu:
PS - FP7: High-Precision processes for micro manufacturing (11 DE 094I 3LYS)
Popis:
A German research group has developed various processes for generating micro geometries. Two major processes are Jet Electrochemical Machining (Jet-ECM) and micro impact extrusion.
The group wants to submit a proposal within the next FP7-FoF-NMP call (Topic FoF-NMP-2012-5.)which was published in July 2011 and is looking for partners from industry. Partners should deal with micro-machining and/or be in the production of 3D microparts and/or related activities such as measurement.
Jet-ECM is a nonconventional electrochemical technology, which applies high current densities with a high local material removal, high localization of erosion and high surface quality.
The micro impact extrusion is a process that allows the generation of micro geometry arrays with dimensions in the micrometer scale and very high accuracies (±2µm) in metals. For example, arrays of cavities of 300µm width, 250µm depth and 90° flank angles, separated by 200µm wide walls can be formed into aluminium sheet metal. Typical requirements and characteristics of micro forming such as tool manufacturing, process design, and process control can be handled.
The group wants to draft a proposal within the FoF-NMP-call and searches for partners that want to join.
Technical Specifications / Specific technical requirements:
The group is looking mainly for industrial non-German partners, preferably small and medium sized Enterprises. Deadline for responses is September, 30th.
The preferred topic FoF-NMP-2012-5 calls for a small-or medium sized project.
" Information on the call:
call type: FP7
call identifier:FP7-2012-NMP-ICT-FoF
topic:FoF.NMP.2012-5 - High precision production
technologies for high quality
3D micro-parts
deadline:1 December 2011 at 17.00.00 (Brussels local time)
funding scheme: Collaborative Projects (Small or mediumscale focused research
project)" Proposal development stage: idea" Requested EU funding (approximately): 2-3 Mio EUR" Percentage of EU funding: 75% for R&D for SMEs
Technical requirements and other roles that the potential partner would fulfil within the project:
- Analysis of the micro-structural behaviour of materials and its interaction with the production process, together with systems and devices for quality check of the microcomponent
- development and test of measurement technologies and equipment (e.g. for micro-parts with high aspect ratio features, 3D-metrology), new handling, manipulation and fixture devices and systems
