Název projektu:
PS - FP7 Project (Eureka): consortium seeking integrators of large management and surveillance systems in public transports & cities (11 FR 38m9 3MGD)
Popis:
A European consortium covering three countries and coordinated by a French company involved in CCTV video images interpretation is looking for integrators of large management and surveillance systems in public transports & cities. On its side, the French company will develop the image processing software, as well as its integration with market supervision systems. This project addresses the intelligent surveillance of large transport infrastructures and cities.

On its side, the French company will develop the image processing software, as well as its integration with market supervision systems. This project addresses the intelligent surveillance of large transport infrastructures and cities. The French company thinks that local sensors can help in providing information about major local incidents or frequentation of people and crowds on these networks, but also that local sensors should most of the time not raise directly alarms, because :
- anomalies in spatial frequentation of a site (many people here, nobody there) are not an information which can raise an alarm just at the level of one camera, but requires on the contrary an overview of the whole infrastructure,
- anomalies in time frequentation of a site (30% average filling every Monday, but this Monday 60%) are also not an information which can raise an alarm without a strong statistical database and an associated tool.
These kinds of infrastructures need a structuring tool whose knowledge level is higher than the simple information that a site supervision system can provide today. This tool is compulsory if the consortium wants to propose systems that raise few alarms (but acute ones) on the site situation. If the consortium stays at an organization level where sensors raise all the alarms, it won't be able to avoid the operator to sink under thousands of messages every day, which will make the sensors useless.
For an Eurostars project, the consortium is searching an integrator of large site supervision (and video surveillance) systems in public transports & cities. The partner would participate in the definition of needs for an intelligent system managing sensors over a public site, and would integrate and deploy the prototype on parts of two or three sites, for two or three different end-users, in order to collect an end user feedback on the principles of the system. Preferably the partner would be working with standard systems and products (Ethernet, TCP-IP, ONVIF, ...).
Technical Specifications / Specific technical requirements:
CALL Information: EUREKA funded
Project proposal development stage:
Proposal stage, not yet submitted.
Total EU funding requested for the project: confidential, but available upon request.
EU funding foreseen for the partner: to be determined before project submission. It will depend on the tasks realized by the partner.
