A European consortium is looking for industrial SMEs for an FP7 project. The objectives of the project are to synthesize novel halogen-free, FR materials, and manufacture relevant prototype components (textiles, composite items, cables, etc). Sought SMEs should be active in the production of fibre FR materials.
A European consortium covering 8 countries and coordinated by a Greek company is applying for a FP7 NMP-SME call. The proposed project aims to create innovative solutions to address existing gaps towards the development of efficient, halogen-free flame retardants (FRs), both organic and inorganic, anticipating development of FRs from renewable resources and promoting recyclability.
