Název projektu:
PS: CLIENT - Energetic and resource efficient urban planning of cities and municipalities (11 DE 1271 3LOO)
Popis:
A German Research Institute is initiating a project in the programme CLIENT (International partnerships for sustainable climate protection and environmental technology). Objectives of the proposal are new technological approaches in energetic urban and regional planning for energy efficient cities. SME, research institutes or public authorities are sought that have expertise in energy efficient strategies for communities, energetic refurbishments of buildings and in heat demand cadaster.
The building sector in Germany and many other European countries accounts for more than one third of the total energy demand followed by the transport and industry sectors. The necessity to use energy in the most efficient and economical way should therefore be an essential interest in municipal policy strategies since may have very central influence the energy related fields. Most municipalities have in the past not addressed this issue, but with rising energy prices which affect both local residents and industries, the awareness has significantly risen and numerous projects have been started.
The aim of the funding measure is to create model projects through international partnerships in research and development to enhance the implementation of climate protection technologies and services. For this purpose are technological and socio-economic aspects also important like the early involvement of relevant actors for further common projects in the future.
The planned research project wants to analyze urban districts and estimate their individual structures of energy demand automatically on large areas. The energetic situation of urban districts should help the governance to decide upon individual energy strategies to reduce the energy demand of buildings. The developed energy strategies should be transferable to other communities.
Already two project partners are involved in the planned project:
Partner 1: (RTD Project Coordinator), Germany
- Research focus in energy systems
- Modelling and analysis of communal energy systems
- Optimization of communal energy systems
- Developing energy efficient concepts
- Modelling of renewable energy potentials
- Low Exergy Systems for heating and cooling of buildings
Partner 2: (RTD), Germany
- Research focus in geoinformatics
- Data Mining in 3D spatial data infrastructures
- Geometric Reasoning in 3D building models
- Derivation of building models from 3D point clouds
- Building reconstruction of building roofs
