Popis:
A French company specialized in animal breeding seeks a supplier of veterinary insemination catheters. The company is looking for industrial manufacturers to produce the specific catheters by plastic injection. These catheters are dedicated to animal artificial insemination and therefor must be made with a non-spermicidal material. They are to be composed of two parts: a semi-rigid plastic tube with an end tip fixed on it by direct plastic injection.
The end tip should be made of APIGO (elastomer).
The semi-rigid hollow tube should be made of translucent polypropylene (PP):
-tube length: 450mm
-tube external diameter: 6mm
-tube internal diameter: from 4.3mm minimum to 4.5mm maximum
The tube should have perpendicular cuts at both ends, free of burrs or plastic sawdust. It should bend at 90 degrees with no internal closing.
The catheters should be individually wrapped in a plastic (PP) translucent sheath:
-sheath length: 545mm
-sheath width: 60mm
-sheath thickness: 35µm
The sheath should not stick on the catheter. It should be easily opened and removed without tools by simple insertion of the catheter tip on the weld.
The French company looks for subcontractors in plastic injection for a Manufacturing agreement.
Technical Specifications / Specific technical requirements:
The two plastic parts should be made with non-spermicidal materials. Their non-spermicidal properties will be validated by the French company. The new supplier should inform of any changes in manufacturing processes or more specifically in use of raw materials. Any changes in raw materials will be subject to a preliminary study of the non-spermicidal effects.
