A French clean-tech oriented company which activity is based on Combined Heat, Cooling, Power (CHCP) and Desalination innovative solutions is looking for a Multi Effect Distillation desalination process for Trigeneration energy applications. The company is interested in a long term partnership: a technical cooperation and then commercial agreements with technical assistance.
The proposer is a French clean-tech oriented company which activity is based on Combined Heat, Cooling, Power (CHCP) and Desalination innovative solutions. The company designs integrated system in which the most consuming machines are fuelled by thermal losses recovered on other machines, increasing the overall efficiency. Its innovations allow the recovery of 30 % additional heat compared to the state of the art trigeneration based on Diesel Engine, the maximum possible utilization of primary energy content of the fuel is thus realized. Its solutions are marketed for tertiary sector operators which are not inter-connected, or for which grids are not sufficiently reliable or efficient.

The company is looking for a MED (Multi Effect Distillation) desalination unit with the following technical specifications and for which specific design and interfaces should be carried out:
Performance :
- 700m3/day (Modular facilities possible)
- Minimum flow of hot water: 30 m3/hour; Maximum: 40 m3/hour
- Fresh water is for domestic and consumption uses (drinkable)
- Thermal consumption: maximum 100 kWh/m3
- Operating temperature of approx. 70°C.
Coastal environment :
- Sea-water temperature: 30°C (max. 31°C, min. 23°c)
- Salinity: 36 500 ppm
- Hygrometry: 80 % (max.95%, min. 70%)
