A Turkish company experienced in vehicle design and engineering is looking for electrical motor and battery technologies and transmission to be used in the design and development of a cargo transportation vehicle. The technology sought can be already in the market or the company is also ready for joint further development. The joint further development could be also a EUREKA, Eurostars or FP7 project.
A cargo vehicle with alternative design concepts is recently in development process. The Turkish company is experienced in vehicle design and development. However, the company needs experienced partners to cooperate on the powertrain (PT) development and integration. The reason for developing specific vehicles for cargo/logistics industry starts with the idea of minimizing the transportation costs, because most of the process depends on land transportation. Also, it is very important for the cargo vehicles to be light and have a bigger load capacity. Therefore, the vehicle chassis and body optimization and the PT selection and adaptation to the vehicle in order to satisfy target torque and power values are two very important factors.
Technical Specifications / Specific technical requirements:
The PT group must meet the HP (Horse Power)and Torque requirements. Preferably, a lighter battery will help the vehicle to carry more loads. Therefore PT system optimization should be considered carefully. Moreover, packaging and cooling system design can be mutually worked on. Quick recharge times for batteries are expected. At all cargo stations, charge stations can be setup.
